
ABOUT JASMINE KOHLBRENNER
Jasmine is a highly gifted and high achieving student who graduated Summa Cum Laude from the internationally accredited David Nazarian College of Business and Economics in Northridge, CA. Perfecting the craft of filmmaking, she completed her studies at the California State University in Northridge (CSUN) with a degree in BS Business Administration (major in Marketing) in May 2025, with proficiency in Cinema & Television Arts having spent her early years at the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, & Communication and in the nationally distinguished John F. Kennedy High School Film Magnet (ADDF) Program finishing at the top of the program school-wide. She's the youngest Artist-in-Residence (AIR) at Councilman John Lee's CD12 Making Movies That Matter Project. She won GOLD in Digital Cinematic Production during the 2020 & 2021 SkillsUSA Regionals & State Competitions in California. A shining star in cinematography, film & sound effects editing, & directing, Jasmine was inducted to The Hollywood Reporter's groundbreaking 2019 Young Executive Fellowship Program and in 2022, she was awarded the CPAC Scholarship. She served as the President of Key Club International Chapter at her school. In addition to her love of filmmaking, Jasmine was one of the recipients of The Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth International Search Academic Achievement in 2014. She likewise received multiple awards in Science, Mathematics, Technology, Arts, Music, Dance, and is a Junior Olympic Swimmer.
Jasmine offers a unique style and critical thinking in cinema and video production, an effective peer collaborator, and is consistently ahead of the curve in technology and in innovative ideas. She is an Adobe Premiere Pro Editing Suite (2021) and Google Analytics (2025) Certified Professional.
